Information on Using Our Courses
It is recommended that the computer used for taking these courses have a browser like Internet Explorer 4.0 that can utilize layers. It is recommended that the resolution of the computer display be set at 1024 X 768 pixels.
A sound card is unnecessary. Our pages are relatively small files and are designed to work well on dial up connections.
All courses use Adult Learning theory. We know that you are busy and prefer to concentrate on material that is unfamiliar. We know that you like plenty of interaction and feedback. We know that you like the freedom to exit the course and return with ease.
Each page has a column of links on the left margin that will let you jump to unfamiliar material.
How do the Interactions Work?
Most pages have a short quiz to review the material presented on that page. This quiz will reinforce the information presented and allow the participant to assess their understanding of the subject.
