About G & D International
Our Mission
G & D International was organized by Galynn Ferris in 1998 to provide diverse range of services from computer programming to machinery repair.
Our successful projects include:- The restoration of a 1928 Catepillar 30 for the George Ranch. This project is still underway.
- Internet advertising for an antique machinery sale in August 2004.
- The sale of forage bags to a company in Argentina.
- A user manual for a proprietary OLTP system.
- Databases in MS Access and SQL to track employee information.
Cat 30
This tractor was manufactured in Peoria IL. It has set in this leanto shed since 1997. It is complete and the engine is free. The magneto is dead, the steering levers are stuck, and the carburetor intake needs rebuilding.
The Ensign carburetor is solid brass. The tractor was built to use gasoline, distilate, or crude oil for fuel.
Antique Auction
My family sold the accumulation of four generations of farmers in August of 2004.
The sale was well attended and generated an unexpected amount of income. It was good to get all of these antiques moved out of the trees and into the inventory of interested collectors.
